The Office of Internal Compliance (OIC) serves as a resource to the Board of Commissioners, Administrative Receiver and Management to ensure the effective and efficient discharge of their responsibilities within the framework of strict compliance with all policies, procedures, laws and regulations required by Federal, State, Local law and internal authorities.

To enforce adherence to each department’s set of policies and procedures and ensure that the agency’s assets are properly safeguarded against fraud, thief, misuse and abuse; a confidential hotline 504-670-3372 has been established to report any suspension of inappropriate behavior. Also, please feel free to report any suspected violations by completing the form below. Reports are confidential and will be monitored by the Chief Internal Compliance and Ethics Officer who is completely independent from all departments within HANO.
