Toni Hackett Antrum
Founder and President, The Hackett Group

Toni Hackett Antrum is the Founder and President of The Hackett Group, an investment consulting group firm and a Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) that engages in pension fund consulting, asset, liability and actuarial analysis, real estate analysis, public policy analysis and trustee training and education. In 1988 she co-founded The Washington Hackett Company, the first minority-owned full service pension consulting firm in the nation. Ms. Antrum and her firm provided strategic planning, investment manager searches, performance measurement and specialized investment analysis and training to public pension funds across the country with assets totaling over $150 billion. In 1981, Toni began her investment career in New Orleans at Howard Weil Labouisse Friedrichs, and has also worked as a financial advisor with both Merrill Lynch and Morgan Keegan & Company.

Devoted to entrepreneurship, Toni has served on the Board and also as Executive Vice President at Good Work Network in New Orleans, a nonprofit dedicated to assisting low-income and disadvantaged micro entrepreneurs. Her previous work built upon her experience at East Athens Development Corporation, a community based organization that focused on small business and micro enterprise development, and also her work as a business consultant for the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at the University of Georgia. Her interest and work with small businesses began after serving in the “Dutch” Morial administration focused on minority business development in New Orleans.

Toni graduated with honors from Harvard College majoring in government and earned an MBA from Columbia University with a concentration in finance. She has also been an adjunct professor at Southern University in New Orleans teaching money and banking, finance, microeconomics and entrepreneurship.

She is married and mother of two.
